Notice of Conditions
for MSDNAA Software Product Use

Only some Software Products will be on reserve for checkout and return through the college Learning Resource Center/Library (LRC) circulation desk in building L (2nd floor). Faculty and Students must present a valid MVCC photo ID to obtain software for checkout. Students must also sign and submit proper authorization (Checkout Form), signed also by the instructor for the course using software that you are authorized to borrow.

Software checkout is limited to two (2) days. A daily fee of $1 per day will be charged for software returned late. A charge of $100 will be applied for lost or unreturned software.

The Product is to be used solely pursuant to the use right summarized in the MSDN Academic Alliance Student Use Guidelines.

The use of the Product is strictly governed by the terms and conditions of the Master End-User License Agreement (EULA) and the Amendment to the Master End-User License Agreement (regardless of any license agreement that may appear during an installation process). The Master EULA and the Amendment to the Master EULA are available online under the Program Information link (left navigator bar) at msdn.microsoft.com/academic/.

No copies of any Product under the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) may be loaned or otherwise distributed to any parties. No Faculty Member or Student may copy, loan, or further distribute a copy of any Product.

In the event any Faculty member or Student is in violation of the terms and conditions of the EULA and/or its Amendment, the immediate return or confirmation of destruction of any Product in the possession or under the control of such Student or Faculty member will be demanded. Moraine Valley Community College is bound by the EULA Amendment to permit the inspection of records of distribution upon request by Microsoft.

Moraine Valley Community College is not liable for problems concerning the installation and/or use of MSDNAA Product software and does not provide support or help services of any kind regarding problems with the installation and/or use of MSDNAA Product software. Any problems should be directed to Microsoft Support. Defective discs borrowed through the Moraine Valley library should be reported to the LRC checkout attendant.

  • You have read and agree to comply with this notice.
  • You have read the MSDN Academic Alliance Student Use Guidelines.
  • You are borrowing an MSNDAA Product and that the Product must be returned in compliance with the college checkout and return policy.
