Communications 101 (Dow) Lab Exercise and Worksheet: Using Online Databases
Focusing on the preliminary topic you have chosen for the source-based
writing project, use the library’s databases to find and select sources that
look like they will be useful for your project. When you search for sources
using these databases, remember that you need to be creative with your wording
and that subgroup and related subject headings can help you narrow and focus
your searches. Be sure to write the titles correctly, with capitals, quotation
marks, and underlining.
