Lesson 3 - Using the Grade Center
Introduction
Sandi just finished
creating categories, grading periods, grading schemas, and adding grade columns
and grouping multiple columns to assess the performance of students during a
course period. Now, she is ready to start using the grade center. She starts
adding a score manually to the Midterm Exam because she created essay questions
that need to be graded manually. She also modifies, reverts, deletes, and
exempts/drops the lower grades for certain students. She also runs reports and
views grade statistics for all students in her class. Later, she will sort grade
center columns or use Smart Views to customize the calculation and views of
grade information based on certain criteria she will define.
